Kelly is Rafiki Classical Academy’s Head of School. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. After teaching in both a public school and private classical Christian school in Tampa, Florida, Kelly moved to Africa to serve as a missionary with the Rafiki Foundation. She spent 11 years teaching and leading the Rafiki Schools in Rwanda and Uganda. From 2013-2017 she served as the Head of School in Rwanda and was the Head of School in Uganda from 2017-2022. When she left Uganda, the school had grown to 400 students and ranked in the top 10% in the nation. Kelly returned to Florida in 2022 to launch Rafiki Classical Academy.Kelly earned a Masters of Educational Leadership from Covenant College in 2014, and a Masters of Christian and Classical Studies from Knox Theological Seminary in 2023.
